WAIPA RIDING BOUNDARIES.
READJUSTMENT CONTEMPLATED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OHAUPO, this day. The Walpa County Council Is talking of readjusting tie boundaries of several ridings, owing to the lack of community of Interests caused by the present outline of the districts. For instance, portion of the Übaupo-Tuhlkaramen main road Is In the Pukekura Riding, the remote termination of which is at Cambridge, al'out 13 miles away. The consequence Is Hint the l'ulcekura part of the road Is Mirved of, •Improvcmi'uts, whereas if plnw-'l la the I Tnblkararaea .Riding the local member | would-see that .it received the attention it! warranted. This -and- other instances of a similar nature has prompted the Council to discuss a re-adjustment, hut before anything can he definitely decided on the road boards opeaating in' the dfctricts affected wVI first have to be consulted and their consent obtained to the alterations Tracings hare now been supplied to thpu> bodies toy the Coonty EngtoeSr, and ni«£, ings of ratepayers -will be called at an early date to record their opinion on the ■ proposals. The ridings affected will be Putekura, TnMkaramea, 'Mangaplko, and Mangahoe. , -
