THE NAVY LEAGUE

The Ladies' Emergency Sewing Committee of the Xavy League has received a splendid lot of all sorts of goods, even down to gloves, from the Ellerslie Patriotic Women's League. The goods are ail Well made, and tied in bundles, each containing a set of clohting. and enough has been sent to more than fill a big case. Some of the articles have pennies sewn in the pockets, and some contain toys for the little ones at Home. What could better make for true Imperialism than this action? These children will never forget New Zealand. It is a form .it geography teaching that will live in their memory. The committee is busy : packing cases for shipment to England, and all contributions are gratefully received.
