CITY DWELLERS AND CO-OPERATION.
(To tlie Editor.) Sir, — Your correspondent "Town Dweller's" suggestion of a co-operative farm to produce the necessities of life i for city dwellers is the evident solution , of the present housewife's difficulty in making ends meet on a stationary salary with a soaring market. These farm products for which we pay war prices are not costing the money to produce, and any increased cost in production due to war conditions would be more than compensated for by the economies which are possible only in a large scheme, such as our city dwellers' supply farm would be. Tho project is so evidently feasible, and its object so popular, that I venture to say that if the right man took it in hand the necessary capital would be oversubscribed at once. —I am, etc.. GOOD TIMES COMING.
