BILLIARDS.
CRYSTALLATE CLT. This annual event promoted by Messrs Alcoek and Co., Ltd., will be played off in the firm's show-rooms, second floor, Strand Arcade. The entries comprise many of the best amateur cueists in Auckland, and as a special match pocket Tudor table has been erected for in«* games some good billiards should result. The first heat will be played off on Wednesday evening, July 5, nt 8 p.m., when F. Goodiiew and '\V. K. Hackett will oppose each other. Admission is by card of invitation, which can be obtained at the office of the promoters.
