Mr. Campbell was a member of the Samoan Lotpeditionary force, and on his return irom I Samoa again enlbted. leaving New Zealand with tlip Seventh Reinforcements, and was killed in action on the I 13th instant. With his ready wit and £enhU deposition the deceased was £Tcn-t-raJly popular, and his many acquaintances will rr-itatly mourn his loss.
