(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANTJI, this day. Tho Women's Christian Temperance Union met this morning, Mrs. Don (National President) in tlie chair. A silent vote of sympathy was paesed to all mothers in the Dominion who have lost sons in the defence of the Empire. A vote of thanks was sent to the Premier and Minister for Defence for the assurance that wet canteens will not be introduced into camps. Tlie convention recognised, with gratitude, the earnest efforts of the Minister for Defence to secure the highest degree of moral and physical efficiency among troops. The treasurer's report showed a membership of 3,333, exclusive of Maoris, and a credit,balance of £82.
