ANNOUNCEMENT EXTRAORDINARY. m This unsolicited and magnificent tribute appeared in last night's "Star":— NORSE CAVELL PICTURE. (To the Editor.)'

Sir, —Kindly permit mc to call attention to the beautifully inspiring picture as portraying the tragic scenes in the life of the late Nurse Cavell. It eeems a pity that more attention is not drawn to the beauty of this picture, which in realistic fashion shows the noble self-sacrlflclng life of a noble v,otnan. During this sacred season of •Lent especially should such a picture have but one effect on people who wish to see a reflection of the One Supreme Sacrifice. Speaking from a personal viewing of the film as shown at the Princess Theatre, Queen Street, nothing could have been treated in a more dignified manner, there being no succeeding comics likely to take away the solemn effect produced by witnessing t<uch a beautiful picture.—l am, etc., Arthur P.
