SUDDEN DEATH.
DUE TO NATURAL CAUSES. An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of Richard Walter Irwin, who died suddenly at his residence yesterday, was held before Mr. F. V. Fraser, S.M.. this morning. Evidence was given by deceased's siater that, he was a single man of 52 years, residing at No. 1, Baker Street. Deceased was, employed by Messrs. Dal£etv and Soas, Ltd. Dr. IKeller deposed that after miking a post-mortem, he was of the opinion that dea-th was due to natural causes, the result of an attack oi pneumonia and pleurisy. Michael John Heffern, who resides with Irwin. stated that deceased returned from his employment at 2 pjn. on Thursday complaining of pains in his stomach. He went to bed', and did not make any complaints during the night. On Friday morning witness gave him a stimulant. When he returned, he found him sitting up in bed holding the windowsill. He fell back into witness' arms, and passed away. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medicaJ evidence.
