- FURTHER MEMBERS SECURED, An appeal for support of the Govern-, ments recruiting scheme, similar to that, made on; Tuesday evening-at Mt. Albert.' was.' made last. evening 'at :the._ Jubilee Hall, Kingsland.- The-'Mayor of Mt., Albert. (Mr. 'Murdoch McLean), presided over an. attendance 'of, about .60 people. Tiie meeting: was conduHed on -the; same lines -as that held at the King George Hall, Mti-Albert .-The Mayor briefly-outlined the-work-ing-, of the proposed.scheme."TaHd explained that the meeting was .not held for .the 1 purpose of securing recruits,' but-ih-,ordcr to._form a committee to ;canvass the' district.
