At an inquest on the body of the boy John Montague Gavin, the coroner (Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M.) asked the police if the existence of a better fence would make any difference. . The police replied "No." The coroner warned parents of the necessity of pointing out to their children the grave danger of playing in pottery yards, where large pipes were stacked. He said that such yards ecemed to have a special fascination for email boys.
