OF INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

ONE DEATH IN' THE COUNTRY.

The total number of cases of infantile paralysis now notified from city and country areas reached 115 to«lay, 10 fresh cases having been discovered Bhiee yesterday. Five of these were in the city and suburban area, and five in the country. From the former districts there have now been 80 cases notified, while 35 occurring in the eormtry have been brought to the notice of the District Health Office,

One death hae occurred at Huntly the victim being a child of under 10.' Four other cases from this district have been removed to the Waikato Hospital. To-day's batch of notifications is the largest yet ex-periencp.d by the health authorities during the present epidemic.
