M.aroel Flutin, writing in the "Echo dc I'aris," says that the defences of the Suez Canal and of ligj'pt arc most formidable, ami thut tlie Turco-Gerroans will never be able to storm them. The Germans know the task to be impossible, and the announcement of an offensive against Egj-pt is merely intended to pacify the Turks.
