SUPPLY OF BREAD STUFFS.
PROPOSALS DISCUSSED. TRADE STOCKS TO BE STWAT.T. (Keceived 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, February 6. The Press Bureau states that the Government discussed with the Corn Trade and Millers' Associations certain proposals to maintain adequate stocks of wheat during months when stocks are usually at their lowest. A general agreement ■was arrived at by which the stocks held by the trade as distinct from those held by the Government shall be extremely email. It was also agreed that a public discussion of any scheme that might be adopted was inadvisable in the national interests.
