Such an organisation, called "The Annexation Society. - ' is depicted in a new ami exciting serial tale, by Mr. J. S. Fletcher, \\- opening chapters of which will he published in our issue of to-morrow (Saturday). The mysterious crimes perpetrated by the members of the society form the central feature of the story. They are not elucidated by the usual super-detective, but by a combination of amateurs, assisted by otiers who are working independently. The result i≤ a novel that is rich in excitement, in mysteries, and surprises. "The Annexation Society" is a tale that is sure to carry the reader along irresistibly, Holding the attention until the close.
