EDUCATION BOARD.

APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS. The meeting of the Auckland Education Board was continued yesierday afternoon under the chairmanship of Mr. G. J. Garland after the "Star had gone to press. SOLDIER TEACHERS. On the recommendation of the Finance committee it was decided to again ask the Minister for Education to approve of the proposed arrangements for the conduct of the Training College, with a view to enabling the principal (iMr. H. A. Mllncs) io join the Expeditionary Force. It was also decided to request the Department for a gram for the purpose of enlarging the present school building at Hamilton East.
