£ 10,000 WANTED. FOR COMFORTS AT THE FRONT. (By TelesTapt—rress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The YJM.CA. National Committee is appealing for £10,000 to consolidate and extend its work amongst New Zealand soldiers in New Zealand and abroad. In Egypt it has thirty huts for social and recreative purposes scattered among training camps, in Malta seven centres nre established, it works in Salonika, in all the rest camps, and straight up to the firing line. It had centres at Hclles, Anzac and Suvla Bay before evacuation. The Association appeals to every community to assist to carry comforts to the camps, the firing line and the hospitals.
