Applet) are more plentiful, and lower pi ices arc being accepted: pears arc also routing along in much larger quantities, and arc ruling lower. Apricots from the souui are arriving in bad condition, and selliug at a loss to shippers. The Karamii arrived from Fiji on Monday with a cargo ot bananas, which met a poor market on account of being so close to the main shipment. The prices realised will show a loss to shippers. The potato market is uncertain, since export- shipments "are almost certain to he curtailed. iMuciu lower riitee .must be expected.
