ENEMY TRADING FIRMS.
SPECIAL LICENSES GRANTED IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES. LONDON,' January 21. Replying to a question in the Hohsi of Lords in regard to enemy traders, tin Marquis of Lansdowne said that wher a business not incorporated as a Britisl company, and having one of its pro prietors in an enemy country, was pre eluded from trading in business usefu to Britain, a license to carry on opera tions was sometimes arranted.
