FATAL ACCIDENTS.
THREE CHILDREN DROWNED. IN RACECOURSE LAKE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Vera, Olive and Siunnel Mumford, aged ten, seven and six years respectively, were drowned in the lake at Riecarton racecourse this afternoon. They were paddling, and slipped over a shelf into about 9ft of water. LITTLE GIRL DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN", this day. Margaret Florence Cook, aged nine, fell off a punt at Sawyer's Bay yesterday and was drowned.
