CONFERENCE OF NURSERYMEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The annual conference of the New Zealand Association of Nunserymen opened to-day. The delegates were welcomed by the Mayor. . In his address the Minister of.Agriculture referred to the growth of the fwut industry. Regarding proposed legislation, he said that anything which would promote the fruit industry would receive fair and careful consideration from the Government.
