" A GROWING PTOLIC ANXIETY. I J (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 18. This anxiety has not been allayed by Mr. Chamberlain's statement in the House of Commons. The War Council has considered and approved the operations in Mesopotamia. Tile Government is alive to the necessity of providing the expedition with adequate reinforcements and equipment.
