PEA RIFLE ACCIDENT.
SOOUT HURT AT" TAKAPUNA. A boy named Charles Williams, 11J years of age, who lives with his parents at 19, Cheltenham Road, Devonport, was engaged in shooting practice with a fellow-Scout j when thi rifle, which was held by his companion, became jammed. In their endeavours to release the breech, the gun went off, and the bullet, ricoehetting, entered the unfortunate lad's chest.
