At Bamsgate and Holyhead the premise! .- .were handed over to the authorities as .-emergency Red Cross hospitals for use - forrour wounded soldiers from Antwerp and the Dardanelles, and the apprecia- '-. iitraof the men thus helped was beyond the power of wards to express. More - than 50,000 woollen garments have been . sent to our "Navy lads, to help them in -. facing the cold winter, while many tons .of bright, cheerful literature have been sent to the Navy, the camps, and the Several fronts, and thousands" of grate--M letters have been received from the .:.__. Our Sailors' Mission in ■land, which has been at work for more .. t_m- 30- years, and is "still at it," is a -hranch of the above noble society, of ': whkh our King and Queen are patrons. - In this mission, Captain Bazeley and his ihdpers are doing a great work, and which will now be greatly facilitated by . the great improvements in the hall, ' : which have been carried out so well under the direction of the Council of the Sailors' Home.
