GLASGOW. Trooper David Charles Glasgow, who was wounded and admitted to the Kew Zealand General Hospital at Cairo, wae serving witii the Wellington Mounted Si3e3. He is a son of Mr James Glasgow, Mangere Bridge, Onehunga, and wae born in Onehunga 20 years ago. PRIVATE H. TROOPER H. J. BULLOCK. ' Although' the name of Trooper Herbert ! John Bullock has appeared in a hospital I and progress report in a list of soldiers !on furlough in England, his father, Mr. Herbert Bullock, of Matamata, lias not received any official notification regarding his son'e whereabouts. Trooper Buliock is serving Tvith the Wellington Mounted Rifles, and his case appears to •be one of the many that have occurred where the first notice to relatives that all was not well with the boys on active service has come through a hospital list recording arrival in England. PRIVATE P. M. GEDDES. Last week Mr. G. W. Geddes, of Dunedin, received a letter from the Canadian Records Office to the effect that his eon, Percy Mainwaring Geddes, of the 3rd Battalion, Canadians, was missing, and it was feared that he was drowned in the sinking of the Anglia. This letter was dated November 22. By the same mail Mr. Geddes Teceived a message of condolence from Major Hughes, Minister of Militia and Defence. These communications were the first intimation ot Percy Geddes' death, or presumed death. He -was 'born in Dunedin, the second eon of the family, and was educated at Arthur Street School. Afterwards he was employed .by his father. He left Dunedin aibout five years ago for Canada. He wae about 25 years of age. He went through the Boer war. The laet letter from him was dated from Belgium on October' 24.
