A BUSY .PORT. VESSELS LOADING. SIX LINERS IX PORT. ■ During this morning one Inter-colonial and sis oversea vessels were berthed at the various Auckland wharves. Tbe vessels aggregate +5.113 tons gross. The_ R.M.s. Niagara leaves this afternoon for Vancouver with passengers and oargo. &he arrived here yesterday from Syduey with no less than 280 passengers for this port. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s large liner, Remuera, is at present berthed atjhe Queen's wharf. She is loading a large quautUy of butter, etc.. for Home. The exact quantity of butter that she will carry la noi yet known, as she does not commence lifting it until to-morrow, thus allowing the accumulation of the last f&w days to be included ■in her shipment. ... Ths Paparoa, which comes to Arthur H. Nathm from Liverpool, is lying at the Queen's wharf, where she will discharge 2000 tons of general cargo. On completion of this work, she will sail for Southern ports for unloading. The Ooma is not expected-to leave- Auckland for some time yet. owing to the exceptionally large amount of this fertiliser under her hatches. i' "T^e-Century, a vessel of 4218 tons, which arrived here on Saturday last from Melbourne, is berthed at the King's wharf. She will commence loading to-day for Home, and when working at this port Iβ finished will suil for Tokomaru Bay. Gisborne. Napier, and Wellington to take in further cargo for Home. She will finally sail from Wellington on about Oth January. The C. and l>. Line's Nerehana arrived from London, vii Sydney, this morning and .berthed at the King's -wharf, where she will put out 1013 tous of general cargo for Auckland. She will load a quantity of wool, gum. aud tallow at this port for Home, and will then sail for South to complete unloading her Home cargo. The liner Athenic is to arrive here tomorrow from Sydney, via Whangarei. She ■ts loading meat at the Northern port.
