A "Times" correspondent states that he is reliably informed that the new ■ German battle-cruiser Hindenberg is ready, and is the fastest afloat. This and others are armed with seventeeninch guns. The "Manchester Guardian" 6tates that Germany is not building Dreadnoughts, but concentrating on submarines and merchantmen. She is seeking contracts for two new cruisers for Brazil.
