THREE KING'S COLLEGE.
REMOVAL TO PAERATA. XEW SCHOOL TO BE BUILT. Xhe board of tlic Wesley Training College. Three Kings, has purchased a of 6SO acres at Paerata, with the intention of building a now college therey for the training of Maori and European lads and students. At the .Auckland Jlcthodiet Synod yesterday nfternoon it was stated by Rev. T. H. Sin Bonds (principal) that the Board pronos>"d to. erect suitable buildings on the' *tate, and it was hoped that the foundation stone would- lie laid during the session of Conference ;it Auckland in Febraary next. H was intended to provide a full course of agricultural train- | in*, in addition to the present modified arammar school course, and it was hnped to extend the functions of the college later on to allow of the training of girls as well'as boysProvisional plans of the college buildbeen prepared. The estimated teet'is between tS.OOO and .CfI.OOO, and secommodation will be .provided at first for forty students, together with the teaching"staff. In order to finance the scheme it is intended to dispose of a part of the Board's property at the Three Kings, on which the present college stands. C*e will also lie made of an existing building fund of .€3..W0. The jew huildings will be thoroughly up to date, and will contain ample dormitory accommodation, together with classrooms, a large dining and lecture hall, and all the arrangements required in a properly equipped agricultural college.
