NURSES' EXAMINATIONS.

PAST YEAR'S RESULTS. ' The result of the recent examinations in nursing in connection with the Auckland district was presented at last night's meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. The successful candidates are as follow: — First Year: Nurses Bason. Benjamin, Oranch, Campbell, Ferguson, Hart, Hooten. Hunt, McLean, G. L. Skelton, Rowlands, and Wisi. Second Year: Nurses Bannister. Bidwell. Brown, Clark, Cussen, Davis, Fletcher, Gardner, Montgomery. Pearce, Stronach. Yos, Webb, and VVhitehousc. Third War: Nurses Aitkenhead, Barriball, Buckley, Burgess, Grey, Hansch, Lange, Mander. Wells, and Wilson. The Board of Examiners reported that Uic work of the year, especially in the first year class, had not been uniformly satisfactory. On the examining board's recommendation, it was decided that Nurse Mander, who had done exceptionally well in all examinations, should be awarded the Gold Medal.
