BUTTER OR CHEESE?
■ WASTE OF FOOD PRODUCTS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 23 The Board of Agriculture has issued a leaflet recommending an increase in the production of cheese, because of present high prices, as a contribution to the national food supply. It adds: "Under •present conditions the use of lar»e quantities of milk in the production of butter is wasteful, while wholesome and economical substitutes for butter are available Butter contains l ess than half the ood in the milk required for its manul he leaflet * caUflin S comment in the trade, some regarding it as an advertisement for margarine.
