Sunday School anniversary services were held yesterday in Edendale Presbyterian Church. Rev. A. T. Thompson, 8.D., of St. Andrew's, Cliristchurch, conducted the morning service, and preached on "The Value of Work." At the afternoon service Rev. W. T. Todd, of Rnkaia, gave an address on "The Lad Who Helped Jesus." In the evening the preacher was Rev. Graham Balfour, 8.D., of First Church, Dunedin, who preached an imJ pressive sermon on "Buying Up the Ojj portunity."
