DRAPERS' ASSOCIATION PROTEST. The following circular lias been issued by the Diapers' Association: —"The cxc- I jcutive committee of the Drapers' As-| I feociation recommends members to ob- j ■serve the usual Saturday half-holiday I only this week. We also understand | j other retail trades will only observe | j Saturday half-holiday. We strongly pro-1 jtest against the words "Public Holiday" being used in carnival advertisements under the above circumstances."
