Gillies Avenue and School Poad, btatinp that, under the new roadiax scheme, their client's land would, b? damaged by the reduction of the levels of the wo roads. It »v pointed out that a portion oi the area would- be perched up 11 to 12 feet. They, therefore, a-sked the Board to undertake within two years to cut down the level, of her corner section to not more than four feet above the final level of these two roads; to create a concrete retaining wall. In return for this th«- Board was to be alloweJ to take all the etone for road-making purposes, free of cost.
