Collection, to date .... £137,238 Disbursements , 23,486 Balance in hand 113,751 Fund aims at 250,000 Still wanted 136,249 I Since the carnival appeal was launched the sura of £37,201 has been raised in aid ( of the Auckland Wounded Soldiers' Fund —the fund which represents the amalgamated patriotic and Mayor's Hospital ■Ship Funds. From the foregoing figures it will be seen that during the war £137.000 has been collected in Auckland i for local patriotic purposes, and that after taking off disbursements, practically as much again is expected by this final appeal, which aims at a fund of £250,000.
