HELP FOR THE WOUNDED. Tlio Girls' Realm Guild Bazaar in aid of the sick and wounded Sew Zealand soldiers in the various We hospitalwas opened at the Town Hull Yesterday afternoon by till" Mayoress {Mrs. ./. li. (iiinson). and attendances during tinafternoon and evening promise verj favourably for the eucceea of the fete There was a large gathering at the open ins ceremony, at which the Mayoress. Col. J. E. Hume. 0.C.D., and Mr." C. 1. Tunks made brief addreseea. and later in the day the numbers increased; while public patronape wae even greater during the evening. The visitors did not over look the worthy object of the b'.zaar and caeh wae freely exchanged (or dainty articles from the various etajls. Business continued briskly to the accompaniment of the voices of the busy patrons till the hour of closing. The musical programme was contributed to by the city organist, Mr. Maughan Barnett, and the Technical College Band, while the pupils of Miss OKI Hall pave ao attractive eoriee of dancing items. In the evening three short and bright entertainments were given in t!ie (On cert Chamber under the direction -.if Fcnton. The bazaar was re-opened thw after noon, and a further opportunity foi v.sitoru to assist the deserving ciuee will be afforded them this evening. Any articles which may remain unsold at the closo of the fete tonight will be dieposed of by auction.
