GERMAN ATTACK AT PERONNE REPULSED,
ARTILLERY ACTIVITY ON SOUTHERN FRONT. ENEMY'S ANTI-AIRCRAFT BATTERY DESTROYED. (Received 10.55 a.m.) PARIS, September 10. An official communique states that south-west of Peronne the Germans attacked the Allied lijjg, after exploding a very powerful mine, but were repulsed. The regions round Berry au Bac, the Champagne and north of the Camp de Chalons were marked by artillery activity on both sides. East of Saint Mihiel we put out of action a German anti-aircraft battery.
