200,000 TURKS PUT OUT OF ACTION.

ENVER PASHA BOASTS THAT HE IS READY FOR RUSSIA. TWO MILLION MEN UNDER ARMS. (Received 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, September 19. A traveller from Constantinople states that at least 200,000 Turks have been put out of action in the campaign. There are 125,000 wounded in Constantinople alone. Enver Pasha (Turkish Minister for War), in an interview with the "Berliner Tagehlatt," said that Turkey is ready for a Russian attack on Constantinople. The Russians could move when they liked. The Turks have over two million men, apart from unarmed Armenians and Greeks. A Turkish division is being formed at Adana, in the south-east of Asia Minor. It is believed that a new Egyptian campaign is intended, or that the men will be employed in protecting the shores of Syria. The authorities have requisitioned all workmen skilled in well sinking and drilling artesian wells.
