I Kidman was char-jed with having put I in false tenders for (cvemment contracts lin connection with the feeling of the troops. It was stated that tenders were put in under fictitious names, the idea I being that if a man were not successful I under his own name one of the tenders he had put in under a false name might catch the contract. It was stated at the , trial that the practice was quite common ] in Australia.
