LONDON HOPEFUL OF DARDANELLES CAMPAIGN
STIRRING NEWS EXPECTED SHORTLY. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LOXDOX. September 16. During the last few days there has been a marked change in opinion in London respecting the Dardanelles campaign. A pronounced note of confidence is heard on all sides. Stirring news is expected in the near future. There is a fresh outburst of optimism in Germany in regard to Bulgaria. The "Cologne Gazette" says that Bulgaria has decided for a healthy policy of friendiy agreement with Turkey. Despite enticements and threats, she haa preferred friendship with the Central Powers, thus securing her national future. DISPATCH FROM SIR lAN HAMILTON. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LOXDOX. September 16. Tn the House of Commons to-day Mr. Aequith stated that he had just received a dispatch from General Sir lan Hamilton. Commander-in-Chief at the Dardanelles.
