TAKAPUNA WATER BOARD.
' The meeting of the Lake Takapuna ', Water Control Board called for yesterday afternoon in the Government RtiildinCß only occupied a few minutes. There were present Messrs. H. M. .Skppt (Crown Commissioner). \V. HandJey. A. E. Oreenslade, W. Wallace a ,,d W. Blomfield. The chairman explained he had met the .Mayor of Auckland, who informed him that he had not so far been able to get sufficient information upon which to form a definite scheme regarding the supplying of water to the northern .suburb?. Mr. Gr«Mislade asked the chairman's ruling upon his notice of motion (already published) as to the powers of the Board The chairman said it was really asking j for Information, which he would supply in writing before next meeting of the ! Roird. The Board then adjourned until next I v ednesdaj iftezaooa.
