A British proclamation has been issued prohibiting trading with enemy subjects in China, Siam, Persia, and Morocco from July 26. To Drive Homo the Head. , Mr. Bonar Law. Its staying powers-are now being tested." I Russian War Minister. M. SukholminofF has resigned the Russian Ministry for War. It is understood that General Polivanoff, formerly Assistant-Minister for War, will succeed him. Industrial Co-operation. The Russian Press notes the eollabor- j iltion of Britain and France in the organisation of industries. It urges the participation of Russk in the scheme, pointing out that the colossal problems confronting the Allies can be best solved by joint labour, co-operation and the speeding up of factories. Greeks Leave G-allipoli. The Greek population at Maidos and Krithia. on the Gallipoli Peninsula, hae been transported to Panderma. The people were in a deplorable state. Want Colonial Empire. The Industrial and Agrarian League* in Germany have petitioned the Chancellor to demand the creation of a colonial empire as a condition of peace, '
