Second piece, to stitch round face: Cast on Oβ, knit 20 rows 2 plain 2 purl and cast oft". For thicker wool reduce stitches and rows. BED SOCKS FOR HOSPITAL USE. Three skeins Koslvn or equivalent. white or natural. Cast on 50, knit 40 rows 2 plain 2 purl, knit 2. pass wool to front, and knit 2 together to end of row, cast on 'M more stitches, knit back to end of row. cast on :!0 more stitches. Stitches on needlo will now bo 110. Knit IS rows. increasing 1 at end of each row; knit IS rows, decreasing 1 at end of each row; cast off; fold in two and stitch round to form sock: pass tape or length of chain through holes at ankle. MITTEXS WITHOUT THUMBS. One and α-linlf skeins Special or Roslyn 3-ply or equivalent: 1 pair needles, 12 or 13.
