WAIHI NEWS.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Monday. The presentation of badges in connection with the Wnibi Boy Scouts was made yesterday at the Technical School by the Mayor (Mr D Donaldson). Amongst those present were the Her. W. A. Butler (Scoutmaster) A. T. Smith (late Scoutmaster), and H B Dale. A presentation on behalf | of the'troop was made to Mr. Smith of a handsome set of military brushes. A church parade was subsequently held ut St. John's, the Rev. Butler preaching a stirring sermon on "Tile flag, and what it stands for." .. A pleasing ceremony took place at the Methodist Church yesterday morning when the Rev I\ .1.
