WELLINGTON, this day.
According to news received by mail to-day, the shortage in farm labour in England is causing increasing unrest in agricultural circles generally. It is recognised, moreover, that the scarcity o£, labour, emphasised as it has been by brisk recruiting ill rural districts, will remain a vexed problem after the war is over. Wages throughout farming districts have advanced aharply, the average increase being about four shillinga weekly.
