AIM OF THE GERMAN" ATTACK ON LEMBERG. T RUSSIAN CAVALRY CHARGES WIFE OTTT A REGIMENT, LONDON, June 20. The "Observer's" Petrograd correspondent says that the object of the Lernberg attack is to , impress Rumania and Bulgaria, the German Staff regarding the position in Gallipoli ac one of etalematc, neither side being, able to use more men with the space available, the only danger to Germany being if Eumania or Bulgaria intervenes. It ie officially stated in Petrograd that the battle of Lubackzour, in Northern Galicia, between Jarsolav and Eavaruska, on Tuesday, included a brilliant and bold attack by the cavalry upon the infantry, -wherein the -whole of the Ninety-first German Regiment was annihilated and dispersed. The attdbk produced a panic, and temporarily stopped the German advance. The enemy's vanguard, attempted to break through the denies round Grodek Lake,- but -was repulsed. The fighting continues. Considerable enemy forces crossed the Dniester below Lizio'w, "but all attempts to advance beyond the steep banks on -Thursday and Friday, were repulsed.
