Xot only were those kiwis and kakapoon the block, but there were _lso dozen" of blue -mountain -trek, s_d_lel-U_-(worth £10 each), New Ze_l_nd robini, w.rens, owl*, look's petrels, keas, kakae, toi, makomakos, wairblers, i-letnen, creepers, Maori hens, fa-tails, tomtits, and pigeons. The block has been gazetted a sanctuary.
