Lance-Corporal Reginald Thomas Chisholm, who left with the main Kxpeditionarv Force, and was killed at the Dardanelles, wa rt the eldest son of Mr. 11. M. Chisholm. merchant, of Napier, but formerly of Remnera. He is one of three sons who volunteered for service, and was an old boy of King's College. WITH THE AUSTRALIANS. Mrs. 'YVhitaker, of Ardmore. Papakiira, has received cable advice to-day that her -on Edward Alfred Whit.ikcr. hid been wounded in action while serving with the Australian forces a.t the Dardanelles. CANTERBURY. PRIVATE lIEXRY B. DAWSON. Private Henry B. Dawson, reported killed, was the fourth son of Mr. M. Dawson, Hampden (Otago). He was tbe first in the district to volunteer. SERGEANT F. W. E. OVERTON. SerL't. Overton, reported killed, was the second son of Mr. K. Overton, Taihape, and late of Ellosmere. PRIVATE LESLIE FELDWICK. Private Leslie Feldwick, reported wounded, was a nephew of the late Hon. H. Keldwick. He joined the Bank of New Zealand 10 years ago, and enlisted nt (lore. A brother was killed at Gallipoli. PRIVATE G. TOME. Advice received from Private G. Tomo, who has been wounded, states that an explosive bullet struck his rifie and a fragment inflicted scalp wounds. PRIVATE J. JAMES. Private J. James, reported missing, was 23 years of age. He enlisted as a piper, having been a member of the Dunedin Pipe Band, which secured the championship at Auckland Exhibition. OTAGO. PRIVATE DONALD HAHPER.

Private Donald Harper, notico of whose death from gunshot wounds has been cabled, was only 18 years of age. and was a member of the Engineer Cadets. He was born in Sydney, and came to Dunedin some seven years ago. completing his education nt the Musselburgh and Arthur Street schools. His first employment was at Messrs. Butterworth Pros.' warehouse, but later he entered the "Star" Office with the intention oi becoming a linotype opcr.tor. He was one of the first in Dunedin to put bis name down for active service. He is the third son of Mr. Fred E. Harper, of Anderson's Bay. Another son goes into camp with the next reinforcements. LIEUTENANT J. D. A. LYTTLE. Lieut. J. D. A. Lyttle. who was at first renortiyl as missing, i.s now reported as having been killed. Lieut. Lyttle was a native of Gore, and was a teacher on the staff of the Kait-ansnta Public school when he volunteered for active service. CORPORAL ,T. MARLOW. Mr. J. J. Mario*, of Dunedin, is in receipt of a letter to-day advising that his son, Corpl. J. Mariow, previously reported wounded without the nature of the wound being indicated, had received a bullet through the right arm. and that he was progressing favourably in Heliopolis General Hospital.
