The Harbour Board had confirmed the sale of the whole of their interest in Cilenalvon. freehold and leasehold, for €12.(320. and .Mr. Russell's agreement to sell had also been confirmed. The relative position in regard to this improvement and the scheme as it was previously adopted was as follows: Old proposal with wall: Cost of wall and steps. £4,500; compensation claim. €2.000: total, £6,500. Amended proposal adopted by Council: Credit Buildings (2). £750; 320 ft, at CSO. £2. r ).H00: ISfiin = f)3ft, at £20, C 1.560: 12iift. at £20, £2,400: total, ! tsn.tiio. Debit: Auckland TTarbour Board. Clenalvon. €12,020; lessee do., £1,150; K.
