Mr. Harbutt o-Wnvod that the destruction of vast areas of timber in the war zone would have s reflex effect upon \ ow Zealand. The question was whether this country was doing all i t could in the way of afforestation. The Government had promised to take action, but apparently the report of the Commission on the subject had been pigeon holed.
