EMPLOYEES' PICNIC.
' It The third annual picnic of Messrs. _ Browne Bros, and Geddes' employees was J held on Saturday last at Motutapu. The I p.u. Britannia conveyed a large party to n tbe island, where a most enjoyable day waa •pent. During the afternoon a very interesting sports programme was gone through, when some very exciting finishes were witnessed. The handicapping by Messrs. D. Whitakcr and G. H.
