Justice Hosking. : h'as beeul appointed a commission td3no3li-c£ infco Zth£. contained !3>i devonport residents concerning the increased charges for the use of the ferry wharves Jn, Auckland, as fixed by clause 32 of the by-law recently adopted by the Auckland Harbour- Board. - • Telegrams containing the intimation were received both by the secretary of *he Harbour Board and the "member for Waitemata (Mr. A. Harris). No information has yet been received as to the date upon which „tbe .commission will sit. When seen thi«_morning the chairman of the Harbour Board (Mr. J. H Gunson) said that he did not know any more about the matter than was indicated in tne-Ministere telegram.
